Peace Cactus by Andy Ultra, is one of a series of six paintings made in connection with Super Ultra Cool. This painting is on display at North in Leigh-on-Sea. This piece is obviously the inspiration behind the design for our Cactus Tee. Andy liked the idea of the symbol of peace, but with a spiky exterior creating a juxtaposition. Again the tropes of the gloved hand is referenced within the design of the cactus.
The painting has been scanned at very high resolution to capture all the detail of the brush strokes, mistakes, and imperfections that adds to the fidelity of the artwork. This is printed on a high grade matter art paper using the Giclée printing method. This gives a very accurate colour replication, as well as a high fidelity finish. We recommend you frame the posters for display. Prints are delivered rolled and in full recyclable packaging. Please leave to rest to flatten the print, under a couple of books for a day should do the trick.
