Rock Cactus T-shirt in Orchid is part of our first collection. Illustrated by Andy ultra. Andy loves his plants, and they inspire a lot of his work. He isn’t the most green fingered creative, but he tries his best. The gloved hands is a trope found in a lot of Andy’s work, coming from a background in animation, he has always had a fascination with the design of early cartoons. The gloved hands are an example of a design solution found by animators of black and white cartoons. They needed a way to show the hand even if it was in-front of the body and with a limited colour palette the solution was the gloved hand. An aesthetic that has been passed down throughout animation, and now adopted into Andy’s Art.
The chest logo design ties this t-shirt to the collection with Mark Van Goss. Mark uses dry brush techniques in his work. Marks hand painted version appears across all of the T-shirts in the third Collection.
The Tee is heavy weight 280 GSM 100% carded cotton. Built to last with neck ribbing, side seams, shoulder-to-shoulder tape, and double needle hems, plus preshrunk fabric for minimal shrinkage when washing. The design is digital printed direct to fabric on the back of the tee. The Super Ultra Cool logo is screen printed over the heart on the front, and the inside back collar has the advised washing instructions to keep the garment in best condition for as long as possible.
